About me

Hi, I’m Bonnie and this is my dog Daisy. We love to create art and provide smart design solutions.

My favorite aspect of design is the opportunity to inspire others. Seeing someone achieve something they didn't think was possible - brings me joy.

I’ve spent more than a dozen years focused on design experimentation working in leadership roles including architect, professor, UX leader, entrepreneur, and mentor. I’ve learned that real progress is achieved when people - partners, customers, stakeholders - can express their creative ideas in an open setting without fear of judgment. My role as a design leader is to turn those conversations into meaningful paths forward - turning questions into the right answers for consumers, customers and partners alike.

The most common challenge my clients and partners share with me is that they or their organizations have chosen to start with technology first. The perspective I’ve developed over the years hinges upon not only uncovering the why, but paving a path forward that aligns technology with design, people and process - to drive meaningful and measurable business outcomes.

Not everyone is comfortable expressing creative ideas, often times - they don’t use the same words to describe how or what they’re thinking. By coaching folks through design-thinking sessions and workshops, I’ve been able to prove that regardless of role, everyone’s ideas matter.

For me, design is about changing mindsets, ways of working, and reinventing how we interact with one another. I work tirelessly to take the fear out of design thinking, to encourage authenticity, and to ensure everyone I work with feels the JOY of having a design mindset.
